VCT expert will offer a keynote at ICMA's 2005 Academy Spring Workshop in Dallas
DOWNERS GROVE, IL., - Jorge Ojeda, Art Director for Versatile Card Technology, Inc., has been chosen to give a workshop at the ICMA's 2005 Academy Workshop in Dallas Texas on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 from 4:35 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
During this workshop Mr. Jorge Ojeda will discuss Engineering Design (taking card manufacturing beyond graphics). Mr. Ojeda will help educate attendees in several areas of plastic card design including the following:
- How ISO standards have limited card design options in the past.
- How innovative products have broken the ISO-barrier.
- How innovation has taken the industry beyond graphic design and into industrial design.
- Overview of what industrial design is and how it differs from standard design.
- Examples of industrial design principles.
- How new card designs have strengthened brand identities.
It is the goal of Mr. Jorge Ojeda and VCT with the assistance of the ICMA to educate attendees on the increasing demand of design with in the card industry.
