In 1989, VCT entered the financial transaction card market. To do so, we recruited personnel with managerial and technical backgrounds in secure card manufacturing, and added physical and administrative security systems.
Today, VCT manufactures over 800 million cards a year in a secure environment that meets or exceeds the standards set by America's largest financial institutions. This security level is unique within a traditional manufacturing environment, and it has earned us the distinction of "Certified Card Manufacturers" by VISA International and MasterCard International.
We credit the knowledge, experience, and commitment of our personnel for our ability to offer this level of security to all our customers, while maintaining an annual growth rate of 35% over the last four years.

Three alarm systems monitored internally by security staff, protect the perimeter, internal production areas and vault. VCT has also had these alarm systems backed up by the same U.L. listed communication and monitoring systems used by private financial institutions, FBI, State Police, IRS, and numerous other public and private institutions that require the highest levels of security.

U.L.
Grade AA Redundant Alarm Systems Communications:
The VCT alarm systems connect to the monitoring facility using the local telephone network, which is common with high security institutions. We exceeded the standards though, by installing a completely independent wireless link to our monitoring station.

Closed Circuit Television Monitoring: |
| |
Our closed circuit television system has a two-fold purpose. First and most obvious, is to view unauthorized or illegal activity. The second and more difficult to achieve practically, is to provide an overlapping audit trail of required activity. Many activities are required of our personnel to achieve the level of security we provide. Eight different cameras record every card shipment regardless of the nature of the card involved. We use this video audit to assure our customers that they need not just take our word on it.

|
Currently, we monitor and record over 40 different cameras located in and outside of our facility. All cameras are recorded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Thanks to a new, state of the art, High Density recording format, developed by Sanyo for the gaming industry, VCT is able to now record in virtual real time.

VCT's vault exceeds the security requirements of both VISA International and MasterCard International. For customers who request or require vault storage, VCT is able to offer protection/storage for two million finished cards awaiting shipment within our walk-in vault. Manufactured and built on the premises by Diebold, the vault features time locking and a dual-control day door.

Taking advantage of our secure environment, economies of scale, or to meet the reasonable requests of customers, we will also store cards within our secure warehouse at no charge.
